Red list animals: the polar bear

1. The animal in this photo is a polar bear. It´s a type of bear. Here they are on the ice.Maybe they are hunting.

2.Adult polar bear are 750 kilos. They can swim more than 150 kilometres. Females have two cubs every four or five years.Polar bears live in the Artic, Canada, Russia, Greenland and Norway. They eat fish and meat. They hunt whales, fish, seals and walruses.

3.They are on the red list of animals in danger. The Artic is smaller because the climate is changing. Pollution is a problem, specially oil. Humans hunt polar bears in some areas. I think that it is important to protect these animals.
